September 2013: raising money for the Tenterden Christmas lights. The Tenterden firemen
(and lots of willing helpers from Homewood School and the Tenterden Chamber of Commerce) raised an amazing £943.24 at the car wash fundraising day on 7 September. Sue Ferguson, one of the organisers and helpers on the day, standing at the front to the left of the firemen. We had a wonderful array of vehicles to wash: plain old ordinary cars, work vans, a tractor, a bicycle, a limosine, even an RAC van who came out to rescue a car which broke down at the car wash.
